In Referral Manager, the set status functionality for referrals has been redesigned and combined with the approval and denial processes into a single unified workflow.
Previous workflow:
The Set Status functionality was completely separate from the Approval and Denial workflows: setting status could be done completely independently of approving and denying referrals.
New workflow:
There is now a single unified process for managing referral statuses. Statuses can still be used to facilitate custom workflows. But now the processes for the authorized or denied status types are automatically triggered by using the “Set Status” menu.
